While this blog was initially created for just Com 210, I’ve decided to also log my personal life here as well to share with all my friends and family. This summer I am doing something very new and exciting, I am a Seafair Princess and a candidate to be Miss Seafair 2012-13. I am very very excited for this opportuinty and the experiences I will have with the program this summer.

Today was the very first meeting with all the other awesome ladies who will also be participating in the program. I met board members from Seafair as well. The meeting took place at Tutta Bella Pizzeria in Westlake (in downtown Seattle, near the swanky Pan Pacific Hotel). The food was AMAZING (see the photo below).

Traffic was HORRIBLE and I ended up being late to the VERY FIRST meeting. At first I was upset and convinced I’d be dubbed “the late girl.” I’ve always been told you never get a second chance to make a first impression, so I wanted mine to be a good one! Since I was late, I ended up being seated next to the current Miss Seafair, which was preeeettty nerve wracking to say the least. We actually ended up gabbing a lot and found out we had a lot in common, she was very sweet and genuine and a normal girl – which really eased all my fears about being in the program and potentially taking on the role of Miss Seafair at the end of program.

I can’t wait to post more pictures from the meetings and parades I will participate in this summer, but for now – here’s a glimpse of the pizza, CIAO! 🙂
