So, I got assigned some homework. Typical. Thankfully I got to interview my best friend, and had some drinks. Drinks led to wanting to make a fancy dinner. And a part of that fancy dinner was a Cabernet Sauvignon reduction sauce (which ended up tasting amazing). Of course I had to play photographer and decided to take a photo of my creation (which was to cover braised filet mignon, YUM!). And, before I knew it, my phone was in a pan of boiling wine. Lesson: step back, and use the zoom feature, it’s there for a reason! 🙂
Anyway, I went through all the random footage I had in my own personal video library. I found a lot of stuff from Seafair, and OMG do I miss it! Without a doubt, going to participate again in 2014 if I have the time (hopefully by then I’ll have a completed MA and enrolled in culinary school).
I managed to complete my assignment with photos and videos from Seafair, featuring info from both 2011-12 Miss Seafair Veronica Quintero as well as 2012-13 Miss Seafair Veronica Asence. The bit is posted below and one of the few news-style videos I have created, actually a lot more fun than I thought it would be 🙂 The assignment will likely be played in class tomorrow when it is due, hopefully me professor doesn’t tear me to shreds. (Even if she does, any criticism is good criticism, right?) Enjoy!
