And so it begins…2013!
This year will surely bring change, and a lot of it! Considering I’ve been a student since 1996 (!!!!), my world will face some serious culture shock when I complete my undergraduate degree this year. Graduating from Washington State University is something I’ve replayed in my head a thousand times, and to know the year I graduate is upon us feels exhilarating like all the hard work and tough times are paying off.
Of course, degrees alone will not guarantee success, and I know I need to make some big moves this year in order to prepare me for my future career endeavors.
At this point, my plan is to get a paid job or internship that will begin the in the summer. Due to the economy and a competitive job market, this might be easier said than done. So of course, I have a plan B! What is it? Go to culinary school and save money to open my own restaurant or food truck (because I love food, so why not?!)
I’d like to thank all my family members and friends who have supported me throughout my career, and who will continue this journey with me as I end one chapter, and begin a new one in this crazy book that is my life.
Happy New Year!!
